PREDICTOR SAYS BEST BETS SANTA ANITA
Saturday February 189th IN HANDICAPPERS PREFERENCE FIRST RACE:
#3CACTUS FLYER(won) picks up Victor for today’s trip as Tyler is at GG,
playable however no single. #5 KAZROAD(3rd) lost all chance at the
break in last I like the rider change for down the hill, Joe will sit chilly.
#1 HIT THE BRIZ (4th)draws fence however shot field off sets that,
Bejarano will be flying late. SECOND
RACE: As we say “Best Stride Too Late” that was the note on #4AUTOCUE(won) in last,
little more ground today. #7 HEROI DO BAFRA(2nd) in my estimation
comes off a very dull outing, front end is his for the asking today. #3
SOUVENIR SLEW(5th) completes the three logical, I see nothing
else, however I’ll key top choice, payback time. THIRD RACE:
I go two days with no solid Trip plays, today I get two in same race, however
both look to be price plays. #9 MELBRISHA(2nd) loses pilot to
another state, the one to beat. Hard to say from where I sit what happened to #8 NENA IDEAL(4th)
in last, she fell apart too quick for me, my note said
“playback”. #2 IDA OF MARCH( won-$11-12-1-ML) has never been
closer then five at the end; I have her lacking racing room through the
stretch. Pick three
pays…..$81.30 FOURTH
RACE: You can see by the conditions being written races tough to fill, #4
FOURTHREEFOREUCLID( won-$9) gets in under the added 50k clause, one to beat..
#6 MINISTERS ALTERBOY (2nd) draws an ideal post for stalking and
running down the early speed. #1 ARKHAM ASYLUM(out) will have to overcome the draw, cloys been
good to me Talamo fits him well. Pick
Four pays $371…..Pick Three pays
$174.00 Had it twice, cost me
$18….on single/all/single….. FIFTH RACE:
Player beware in here, wide open group, #8 FYVIO (5th) faired well
going down the hill in turf debut, slight edge. #9 LET’S GO INDIAN(out)
I can toss in the mix based on last to a very solid group. #3 FANDINO(2nd)
wasn’t embarrassed in debut, was given several weeks to recover, check
out that nice tab. Came close with Fandino..playback… SIXTH RACE:
#5 WARREN’S MOON(3rd-gave way late) gets the necessary
yardage this afternoon and retains leading rider. #8 SEA EMPRESS(out) sheds
the hood today after following the top choice in debut, one negative,
terrible work which I presume was with out the hood, on bright side trainer may have seen
something works don’t tell everything trust me. #3 COSTANTA(won) drops back to claiming tag, but still faces
open company. SEVENTH
RACE: Call me crazy but despite the post draw I like PERFECT MAGIC(2nd)
I see as only speed. #10 AUCUTE
VELOCITY(out) threw a real clinker in last, possible distance may fit him
better. #11 SAINT CINDY(out) I can toss in the mix. EIGHTH
RACE: #6 IN THE SLIPS (dull) looks to be facing an easier task today, unless
something freaky happens she wins. #5 BAB AT THE BREWSTER( strange run)
combines with leading rider, not a bad work tab. #4 ANDINA(3rd)
tries a different kind of Cat today, interesting to see how she fairs. NINTH RACE:
#4 DANCING IN SILKS(out) has won at the distance she also gets off the rail
today, just enough trouble to be costly.
#3 BOB BLACK JACK( won) is another interesting play, from the looks of that
work tab I’d say he was ready for seven furlongs. The youngster #6
VENTANA (2nd)gets tested today, Baffert uses Victor so move comes
as n surprise. TENTH RACE:
#3 CHAILEPIS ( 3rd-longer) doesn’t win this I’m in
deep trouble, impressed me in last. #2
OL’DOGTOWN(won) is always good for part. #4 MAGIC DUST showed some
signs of life in last. TEN RACES DO TAKE IT’S
TOLL……..HOWEVER IT WA S SEVERAL MIDDLE RACES THAT TOOK ALL THE
TIME…. THANK GOD FOR EARLIER RACES......
PREDICTOR SAYS BEST BETS SANTA
ANITA Friday February 19th IN
HANDICAPPERS PREFERENCE FIRST
RACE: This race came up short in the
speed department, I really don’t like #4 SMALL BUT MIGHTY( gave way)
however I can’t overlook speed is here. #2 TALLAHSOCEAN(2nd)
wins it all if top one backs up at all. #6 UNUSUAL JANE(3rd) when
she runs, runs well fresh, race gets no part of my money. SECOND
RACE: #2 CRAIG’S STORM(3rd) fits much better with these only
beaten five to those heavyweights in last. #1 CHANGING( won) shows a drop
however it’s still above his winning level, bad group in last. #6 FIGHT
ON (2nd)off the routes can stalk and bounce in here. THIRD
RACE: #7 DAVE’S REVENGE( in air) looks good on paper however certainly
no lock. #3 FORVER MY LOVE(out) is always a danger if allowed to settle in
early, perfect rider for do that. #1 MADELINE RUBY(last) beaten favorite in
last, over bet in my estimation fits better here. FOURTH
RACE: Looks like many of the cast-offs are in here, go deep…..#7
FAMILIAR SHINE(5th) should never have lost last possible seven
will work better then eight. Somebody liked #9 LITTLE RULER(won) in last and
that was for 50k, the lesser of the Garcia rides, don’t get confused.
#5 DIPLO(4th) changes barns again, I can use this guy with leading
rider up. FIFTH
RACE: #6 WARRENS APPEAL doesn’t have to contend with Welken also she
and #4 ALPINE YODEL sneak in under these conditions combining or 11
victories. #1 WIN ALLISON WIN changed hands given some R & R had nice
prep and now looks groomed to win one. Ugly……… SIXTH
RACE: #2 SILK STREET is proven going
long, I also prefer the company he faced in debut over those that #7 VICTORY
WITH HONOR (stopped) hooked, winner of last came back to falter. #4 CLOSE TO
THE EDGE( rough going) has solid route breeding underneath. SEVENTH
RACE: Two horses fit the old saying,
“When F & M get good they get real good” #4A JEALOUS
WOMAN(won) may be facing her sternest task taking on the six year-old mare #5
WELKEN (2nd)who also goes after her fourth in a row. #1
DEVINE ACTREE isn’t chopped liver, exciting feature Friday . EIGHTH
RACE: #5 KALOOKAN COMMNDO(out) looks to be sitting on graduation. #11
SALTWATER M D(won) is in different hand snow, I look for marked improvement.
1a UNUSUALLY LUCKY(2nd)) takes huge drop from open maiden special
to restricted 50K, look out.

IN
HANDICAPPERS PREFERENCE FIRST
RACE: #4 PAULASHORSEONYA(3rd) debuts at four that’s of some
concern however from this barn they start at five furlongs I can live wit it,
check out the gate work. #5 BROOKIE GIRL(won) off her PP’s has to have
problems, scary move for me. #6 WILLOW MISS(out) has been burning up the tab
at Training Center. SECOND
RACE: Far too many question marks in here, #3 ABSOLUTE GLORY(dull-5th)
looks far more honest then the others. #5 GENERAL DAN(2nd) comes
off two solid outings I can use. I
told you I thought #8 CAMISADO (3rd)was
a bad claim, seldom step up off Moger, lever will help. THIRD
RACE: #8 TORREY CLIFFS(3rd)
I could single post draw gives her the edge today. #1 SPANISH BUNNY(2nd)
gets barn favorite pilot today, I know she’s been away but these
trainers don’t enter to prep. #5 HARBOR READY (out)goes for low
percentage barn however she’s bred to run all day. FOURTH
RACE: #4 FIONA FREUD( won-$13) has some back class, I can take a shot with
her price will be right. #6 A SASSY FUSAICHI(3rd) will set the
early pace she may not stop today on stretch out. #9 PRINCESS SUSAN M (out)
looks very solid underneath. FIFTH
RACE: #4 BIRDIE BIRDIE (4th)is surrounded by speed, heady ride by
Valdivia can win this. #9 SLEEP TIGHT(2nd) hasn’t won in
quite some time so it’s tough to get excited about her chances, however
times have changed, quality not what it used to be. #1 TAMERIN ( rough trip-d’q’d)has the
benefit of the fence, turf speed has been holding. SIXTH
RACE: Office wrote enough conditions in here to make sure it went, #4 WITTY
squeezes in barely(won). #5 MADE FOR MAGIC knows no limits mare takes them
all on, she’s game. Those claiming victories aided U R ALL THAT I AM(3rd)
to sneak in, six victories nothing to overlook in condition races. SEVENTH
RACE: #9 SAMANTHA’S RULE(4th) is well placed once again,
barns picks they’re spots, she’s a player once again. The ENTRY
looks very useable, providing ALWAYS IN STYLE( won) goes. My sleeper in here
is #7 KRISTEN’S LIL LADY( rough going-late) she gets off the fence
today, in last she was going best of all late. EIGHTH
RACE: #9 LED ADVANTAGE(3rd) has enough speed to clear early I look
for her number to pop up today. With #7 POCATELLO WILD KAT(2nd) it’s a matter of getting up in time I
don’t see any speed duels developing up front. This leads me to #4 THIS
TIME BABY (5th) the possible early foot who’s bred to handle
two turns. NOTE:
Daddy always said there would be days like this……lol! GOOD
LUCK…….KRISTEN’S LI LADY only Trip horse in
today…….. |
